    Room Additions in Oklahoma City

Custom room additions built by one contractor. Bedrooms, offices, sunrooms, and more.

MASB Construction & Remodeling LLC builds custom room additions across Oklahoma City (OKC), Edmond, Moore, Norman, and surrounding areas. Every project is led personally by Marco Barrón, owner and general contractor with over 27 years of experience.

We handle everything — design, framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and finishing work. One contractor. One point of contact. No subcontractor chaos.

Whether you need a bedroom, a home office, or a guest suite, the person who walks your home and plans the addition is the one who builds it.

“Couldn't be more pleased with the work. It was done on time and at the promised price. The workers were professional and courteous to us as we watched them add on to our house.”

Closing In a Covered Patio or Porch

Sometimes part of the room is already there. A covered patio or porch has a floor and something overhead, so closing it in can be a way to add a room.

That's the job in the photo. We closed in the covered area under this home's balconies with new walls in board-and-batten siding, a run of large windows, and a red entry door, and stained the concrete floor. The original porch posts are still there inside. Today the room is used as a gym and game room.

Whether your patio or porch can be closed in depends on what's there now — Marco looks at it on the walk-through and tells you straight. See the covered patio enclosure.

What Drives the Cost of a Room Addition

We don't publish a price for additions. They vary too much from one house to the next for a number on a page to mean anything. Here's what moves it:

    • Ground level or upper level

Adding a room at ground level is a different job than adding one upstairs.

    • Size

How much new floor space you're adding.

    • What goes into the room

The electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling it needs, and the finish level you pick.

    • How it ties into the house

Matching the walls, floors, and finishes you already have.

Marco walks your home first, sees what's there, and then gives you a detailed estimate — no obligation. How long the work takes is its own question; we cover it in how long a room addition takes.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can you turn a covered patio or porch into a room?

Often, yes. A covered patio or porch already has a floor and something overhead, so new walls, windows, and a door can close it in as a room. That's how we built the gym and game room in our covered patio enclosure project. Whether yours can be closed in depends on what's there now, and Marco tells you on the walk-through.

How do you price a room addition?

After Marco walks your home. Additions vary too much for a set price to mean anything — ground level or upper level, how big, and everything that goes into the room — so we don't publish one. You get a detailed estimate before any work starts, with no obligation.

Can I stay in my home during construction?

Yes. We clean up daily so you can keep living in your home while we build. Since an addition goes onto or within your existing home, we work to keep the rest of the house usable and the site as tidy as the job allows.

Do you build room additions in my part of the OKC metro?

We build additions throughout Oklahoma City and the surrounding metro — Edmond, Moore, Norman, and Yukon among them — plus nearby communities. If you're within about 30 miles of the city, we can help. Marco runs every project himself, so the person planning your addition is the one building it.
